Campaign – election modeling board game
About 10 years ago a friend and I had the idea to use the game mechanics of the popular tabletop game “Illuminati“, to model actual democratic power dynamics instead of conspiratorial charactures of power. To do this, we blended aspects of parliamentary democracy with presidential systems, where the goal is to collect seats and win elections by capturing and wielding special interest groups. The next steps for Campaign are to get people interested, get it printed, and write it down as a computer program.
